UV/VIS Spec (Cary 50, Probe)

Description

The Cary 50 can be used for common measurement concentration (to calibrate the system for quantitative analysis), simple reads (to perform quick absorbance reading at single wavelength), advanced reads (to multiple samples in a single run), scanning kinetics (to obtain absorbance versus time data to determine the rate of reaction), and UV dissolution (to monitor tablet dissolution) by scanning at the wavelength range of 190-1100 nm or at a single wavelength. The maximum scan rate is 24 000 nm/minute you can scan the whole wavelength range less than 3 seconds. This equipment enables to scan samples contained in cuvettes and put them in a sample compartment or to scan with fiber optic probes because of its super-concentrated beam and coupling efficiency. Hence, the fiber optic dip probe coupled to Varian Cary 50 is inserted directly into each vessel to perform measurements in situ. Moreover, a single cell Peltier accessory is used for precise temperature control to perform a temperature controlled Kinetics run.
