Femtosource Laser
Femtosource Laser
Description
This laser has the narrowest pulsewidth (12 femotoseconds) of all our Ti:sapphire lasers. The laser is pumped using an 8 Watt Millenia laser (see below) and emits ~ 600 mW average power. It is used to generate broadband terahertz radiation (0.1 - 8 THz) for terahertz time domain spectroscopy of materials including drugs of abuse, explosives, proteins and other crystalline materials.
